2015 Clementine Hunter Mural Homecoming Poster

34.95

In 2014, the famous Clementine Hunter African House Murals were temporarily removed from their home at Melrose Plantation to be conserved by the fine art professionals of Whitten & Proctor in Houston, Texas. The conservation is done and the murals are returning to Natchitoches where they'll patiently reside at the Northwest Louisiana History Museum inside the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame while the African House undergoes an extensive restoration. This 18"x24" poster not only celebrates the work of Clementine Hunter, but also serves as an acknowledgement of the many art history lovers over the years who have kept Hunter's original work available for the public to experience. All proceeds go to the African House Restoration Project at Melrose.
